You will be placed as an Independent Contractor working for USA Chatlines .USA Chatlines offers weekly pay. The payroll period runs Mon-Sun and you are paid the following Friday by check or direct deposit if you have signed you for it . You are required to fill out a contract form which is sent to you after Your ext id comes in by email . You may start work however, you will not be issued money until USA Chatlines has received your paperwork.
You are paid for your actually talk time, not your log in time. You are paid per minute based on your overall talk time average for the payroll week. It is important to keep your caller on the line as long as possible. Below is an outline of the pay scale and how the averages are calculated.
You must take no less than 40 calls for the payroll period to be eligible for the following payroll schedule.
*Over 40 calls per week with a weekly average of 9.99 = .40 cents per minute talk time.
*Over 40 calls per week with a weekly average of 8.99 = .30 cents per minute talk time.
*Over 40 calls per week with a weekly average of 7.99 = .17 cents per minute talk time.
*Under 40 calls a week with OVER a 5.99weekly average = .10 cents per minute talk time.
*under 40 calls a week with Under 5.99 weekly average = .07 cents per minute talk time,and
risk of losing extension.
How the system works
Once you are hired you will be issued a code that will be used to sign in and out of the system. You will call a toll free number and enter a pin & ext id to sign you in and out.(( NONE of the customers know your information & will never be able to find that out)).
You will work when you want and if you want. Keep in mind. The more you work the more you make.. so .... its all up to you. We encourage to work as much as possible.
We have calls 24 hours a day 365 days a year! So, you shouldn't be shy-----you can jump in any time you want and answer calls! We have the most calls from 12:00 PM till 12:00 AM every day of the week! There are plenty of calls to do 85...100 or even 200 calls per week! It’s up to you how many you answer and how much you make!!!!!!! Take your time and always listen to what the caller wants...AND make $$$$$$ doing it.

We take the total number of minutes you have actual spoken on a call and divide it by the number of calls you have taken. That gives us your average you have spoken on each call.

3. 1235 divided by 113 = 10.92 Weekly average
4. Took over 40 calls and had a weekly average of over 9.99
Pay Rate: .40 per minute
5. 1235 minutes times .40 per minute =
Total Pay: $494.00
So in this example your talk time average would be a 10 and providing you have taken at least 40 calls or more for the payroll period you would make $24.00 per hour.
If you make less than $25.00 for the payroll period then it will roll over to the following payroll period.
